Monday, August 16, 2021

9:00 a.m.: Road & Bridge Department report. Discussion/Possible motion regarding conditions of approval for variance #5-2021, Instrument #285996 & conditions of plat approval for Roosevelt Place. Motion to adopt resolution to approve list of roads with reduction of 35 mile per hour speed limit. ACTION ITEMS.
9:30 a.m.: County Civil Attorney Tevis Hull – Update on various matters. Discuss matter regarding issue with email storage. Executive session pursuant to Idaho Code 74-206(1)b, to consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against, a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent, or public-school student. Motion to sign Construction Contract with American Road Maintenance for the pavement maintenance project at the Boundary County Airport. Motion to sign letter to Dept. of Environmental Quality regarding sewer feasibility study. Motion to sign parking lot agreement with Mountain Springs Church. Motion to sign Certificates of Residency. Motion to sign Commissioner meeting minutes. Cancel/extend various taxes. Motion to adopt resolution regarding the acceptance of Boundary County (only) refuse/garbage at the landfill and monitored dumpster sites. ACTION ITEMS.
10:00 a.m.: Boundary County Ambulance Service District Governing Board meeting. ACTION ITEMS.
10:30 a.m.: Kootenai Valley Resource Initiative (KVRI) Facilitator Rhonda Vogl & Bonners Ferry District Forest Ranger Kevin Knauth – update on KVRI and Forest Service projects. ACTION ITEM.
11:00 a.m.: Boundary Economic Development Council (EDC) Director Dennis Weed – Update on EDC projects and business. ACTION ITEMS.
11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Sheriff Dave Kramer and Ben Wolfinger – Discussion regarding the Boundary County Jail assessment. ACTION ITEM.
1:30 p.m.: Commissioners’ workshop at the County Annex with Road and Bridge, the County GIS Mapper and County Civil Attorney Tevis Hull regarding addressing and approaches.

1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.: Commissioners’ public hearing at the County Annex, 6566 Main Street, to consider Planning & Zoning Application #21-056, Comprehensive Plan Map and Zoning Map amendment for Applicant Daniel DeHart. ACTION ITEM.
2:30 p.m.: Commissioners’ continued public hearing to be held at the County Annex, 6566 Main Street, to consider Variance #8-2021, to Road Standards Ordinance #2020-2, regarding an approach for Applicants Guthrie, Lucero, Booth, Stueve, and Maas. ACTION ITEM.
3:15 p.m.: Restorium Administrator Karlene Magee – Continued discussion regarding Restorium matters.
4:15 p.m.: Boundary County Emergency Manager Andrew O’Neel – Discussion/motion regarding the Memorandum of Understanding/Cost Share Agreement for Cascadia Rising 2022 Exercise. ACTION ITEM.
