Last day Commissioners meet as Board of Equalization for subsequent property roll.

9:00 a.m.: Road & Bridge Department report. Motion to sign Union Pacific Railroad Lease Agreement for Moyie River Road Guardrail project. Discussion/possible motion regarding Alta Forest Products proposed siding on Stagecoach Road. Discussion/possible motion regarding Children Pedestrian Safety Program 2021 Application for Naples Elementary School Pedestrian Safety Improvements. Executive session pursuant to Idaho Code 74-206(1)a, to consider hiring a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent; and Idaho Code 74-206(1)f, to communicate with legal counsel for the public agency to discuss the legal ramifications of and legal options for pending litigation, or controversies not yet being litigated, but imminently likely to be litigated. Cancel/extend various taxes. Motion to sign New Private Road Name Request Forms. Discussion/motion regarding National Opioids Settlement Notice. Continued discussion regarding American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding. Discussion/motion to sign Parking Lot Agreement with Mountain Springs Church. Motion to approve volunteer list for the Restorium. Continued discussion/possible motion regarding Commissioner re-districting & Commissioners district map. Discussion/possible motion regarding Courthouse telephone system maintenance contract. Motion to sign Idaho Office of Emergency Management 2017 Final Grant Adjustment Notice for the 2017 Operation Stonegarden Grant. Motion to adopt resolution to increase Airport budget due to receipt of unanticipated funds. ACTION ITEMS.

1:30 p.m.: Boundary Community Hospital Chief Executive Officer Preston Becker and Hospital Board of Trustees Chairman Elden Koon – Update on hospital matters. Motion regarding board appointments. ACTION ITEMS.
2:30 p.m.: Discuss Planning and Zoning fees.

Tuesday, December 7, 2021 (Today’s meetings to be held at County Annex)

9:00 a.m.: Bruce Whittaker, George Shutes with the Idaho Transportation Dept., Sheriff Dave Kramer, City of Bonners Ferry Police Chief Brian Zimmerman, Bonners Ferry City Councilman Ron Smith, Senator Jim Woodward – Discuss request to reduce speed limit to 45 mile per hour on Highway 95 from the Forest Service Office to the Mirror Lake Golf Course. POSSIBLE ACTION ITEM.
10:00 a.m.: Sheriff Dave Kramer – Discuss plans for improvements needed for the Boundary County Jail.
10:45 a.m.: Discuss Innovate’s program to improve county’s addressing system.
11:15 a.m.: Restorium Administrator Karlene Magee – Update on Restorium matters.
1:30 p.m.: Emergency Manager Andrew O’Neel – Discussion/possible motion regarding purchase of a new vehicle for the Emergency management position. ACTION ITEM.
