9:00 a.m.: Road and Bridge Department report. Motion to sign Independent Contractor Agreement with Gary Pinch dba Tamarack Ranch regarding hauling mix species logs form for Deep Creek Loop and Lions Den. ACTION ITEM.
9:30 a.m.: County Civil Attorney – Update on various matters. Motion to approve Public Defenders Contract. Cancel/extend various taxes. Review and sign Claims Approval. Sign Certificates of Residency. Motion to sign Commissioners’ meeting minutes. Adopt resolution to increase Justice Fund Sheriff’s budget due to receipt of unanticipated grant revenue. ACTION ITEMS.
9:45 a.m.: Solid Waste Department Superintendent Claine Skeen – Discuss City of Bonners Ferry request regarding concrete. Discuss request of Rotary to use Highway 1 dumpster station for bike riding event. ACTION ITEMS.
10:00 a.m.: Courthouse Maintenance Update.
10:15 a.m.: Discuss draft ordinance regarding county parks. Discussion, possible motion regarding Public Defense Contracts for first appearances and conflicts. ACTION ITEMS.
10:30 a.m.: Dick Staples with JRS Surveying - Discussion regarding indigent liens against property and property line adjustments. ACTION ITEM.
11:00 a.m.: Restorium report. Discuss nursing situation.
11:30 a.m.: Treasurer Sue Larson – Discussion regarding Dennis Garrett properties. ACTION ITEM.
11:45 a.m.: Hospital Board Chairman Elden Koon – Present Commissioners with recommendations for new board members. ACTION ITEM. Quarterly jail inspection.
1:30 p.m.: Executive session pursuant to Idaho Code 74-206(1)a, to consider hiring a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent. ACTION ITEM.
