Rock Creek Fire Update 7-18-18

The Rock Creek Fire located at mile post 517 Highway 95 is not a danger to any local residences, and there are no evacuations of any kind. The fire crews have surrounded the fire and have it contained. Water will continue to be applied to the fire via on the ground fire fighters and fixed wing and helicopter aircraft.

Members of Hall Mountain Fire, North Bench Fire, Curley Creek Fire, Paradise Valley Fire, South Boundary Fire and the Idaho Department of Lands Fire have done a fabulous job of working as a team on this fire. Due to the quick response of all agencies this fire was controlled quickly.

Fire units along with Boundary County Ambulance will be on scene for some time until the fire is deemed safe.
