Current county employees may pick up applications during the in-house posting period at the Personnel Office. Registered Nurse

Department: Restorium
Starting Wage: $43,000 - Position has full benefits.
Typical Work Hours: Salaried position with 30 clinical hours – Sunday through Saturday. Times may vary. On call.

Job Summary
Maintains a current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Idaho. Performs nursing type duties within the guidelines of the Board of Nursing Rules & IDAPA Rules for Assisted Living. Responsible for assuring each resident is assessed according to rules & regulations for assisted living facilities, delegation to UAP's per the Board of Nursing. Will determine the health status of each resident & make recommendations to the Administrator as to their healthcare needs. Must be able to respond to changes in resident's healthcare needs.

Experience Required
Extensive knowledge of the Board of Nursing Rules 23.01.01. At least 2 years of experience working with the elderly. Must demonstrate effective communication skills and work effectively with the elderly, their families, physicians, pharmacy, UAP’s and the Administrator. Must have knowledge of common medications and be able to identify possible adverse reactions and be prompt with an appropriate response. Experience in developing care plans and behavior management plans is highly recommended. Computer experience is essential.

Department: Assessor
Starting Wage: $12.03 to $14.93 depending on experience.
Typical Work Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Job Summary
Performs difficult appraisal and deed work of real or personal property.
This is a full time position with benefits.

Experience Required
High school diploma or equivalent plus successful completion of STC Appraisal I course within one (1) year of hire. Must have a valid Idaho State drivers license. Must be skilled in general mathematics and geometry and be able to perform complex algebraic calculations. Good computer skills essential. Must be highly effective in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with the public and fellow employees, and have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to efficiently operate film and digital cameras. Good knowledge of construction material, quality and cost. Good knowledge of agricultural methods and practices. Good understanding of Idaho property tax laws.

Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent & completion of STC Appraisal Course within 1 year of hire.


Deputy Treasurer, Part Time

Department: Treasurer
Starting Wage: $12.68
Typical Work Hours: Part-time. Employee will work from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. when performing full time duties.
Part-time with Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI) benefits.

Job Summary
Performs a variety of advanced, full performance technical tasks as required to expedite the collection, recording, receipting and balancing of county revenues. Responsible for administering the drainage district program.

Experience Required
High school diploma or equivalent and minimum of one years’ experience in accounting. Knowledge of general office practices including use of computer and software applications such as Word and Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Work Hours
Minimum of sixteen (16) hours per week plus more hours when needed for vacation or sick leave coverage. Full time during the months of June, November and December. The Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI) benefit is included.

Kitchen Helper

Department: Restorium
Starting Wage: $9.32
Typical Work Hours: part-time; day, hours and shifts vary.

Job Summary
Assists cook with food preparation, cleaning and upkeep of kitchen facility for senior citizens and their guests.

Experience Required
Ability to read, write and do simple arithmetic. Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to communicate effectively with superiors, peers, senior citizens and the general public. Must be able to provide efficient, friendly service to seniors and their guests. Must pass a physical examination prior to employment and complete eight hours of continuing education credits per year. Must pass a personal background check and have never been found guilty or have been adjudicated of any crime designated in IDAPA, and meet any other requirements outlined in the Rules for Licensed Residential and Assisted Living Facilities in Idaho.
