Airport Board Meeting July 1, 2025

Trey Dail from Ardurra, Dave Parker, Airport Manager.

Discussed inspection of House that Airport is getting a grant for. It has crawl space with Vents and might be able to be moved. A detailed report was completed by Don Jordan, Dave Parker and Trey.

Power line move is still waiting for a grant from the FAA. Waiting for contract amount from Smith Hydro. Has been an issue with the price of copper prices being unstable. Dave and Trey have been working with Power Engineers, County Attorney, and pricing to enter into an agreement with to come up with a comparision cost estimate.

AGI- Obstruction review is waiting for an FAA grant.

ITD State of Idaho approved a grant for Taxiways and to help with powerline and obstructions. It will be 100% with no match.

Discussed garage doors on hangars and how having doors contributes to non-aviation items to be housed in hangars ie motor homes, boats, trailers, campers etc. It was decided that an 8’ tall 10 foot wide hangar door was the widest that would be allowed and it would be added to the Airport rules. The idea being a vehicle could be parked in hangar while the plane is being flown.

Hangars and end of life, our airport versus others. This item was tabled.

Reviewed CIP ( capital improvement program) It was decided to leave as is for now with the projects listed. This will be submitted to the State of Idaho and FAA for grant consideration. Mark moved to approve Bob provided second and the vote by all was unanimous.

Old Hangar Removal. Dave and Trey have started the federal process for removal of hangars on hangars B, C, and I. Trey expects approval next week.

Hangar C10 owned by Kambiz Kamiab and Phil Beachy. Kambiz has traded work on another hangar for his interest. A signed paper between Kambiz and Phil was approved by the board and Phil Beachy is now the sole owner of hangar A10 and its ground lease.
