Airport Board Meeting October 7, 2025

Airport Terminal Building Pilot’s Lounge
Present: Don Jordan, Jay Wages, Scott Hittle, Bob Blanford, Mark Weber
Trey Dail from Ardurra, Dave Parker, Airport Manager.

Motion to approve Minutes of last meeting by Mark Weber second Scott all approved.

Trey reported on house at end of runway, sale completed. Rent is being paid, certificate of title is signed.

Power poles at south end of runway-
Signed contract with independent review firm to review the contract rates. Trey will move forward with the construction contract. Biggest cost variable is copper prices are fluctuating, so cannot lock down an absolute contract price. Northern Lights and Ziply Fiber are ready to sign. Their cost may change slightly.

Slope stabilization-
Still looking at options for the collection basin. The hydrologist is suggesting a curtain drain at top of the gully and more rip rap on the slope to prevent erosion.

Dave has installed three 10 foot deep trenches in the basin filled with drain rock, which could help to help control drainage from the basin

Hangar Lima LLC sold Hangar L, the old Timber Choppers Hangar, to one of its investors, K80 LLC.

Grant projects-
AGIS survey and runway design is starting

FAA is back to seeking entire runway construction in 2026 at 2.5% match. This is good for the county and will reduce runway closures.

Fuel flow for the month –

Jet A – 248 gallons
100LL – 2820 gallons
