JOB SUMMARY
Assists the cook with meal preparation, meal service, cleaning, and upkeep of the kitchen and dining room for residents and guests in a Residential Care/Assistant Living Facility. Responds appropriately to safety hazards, fire/drills and other emergency situations.
POSITION FUNCTIONS
*Promotes and maintains residents rights.
*Set tables with beverages, silverware, napkins and condiments needed for meals.
*Assist cook in preparation of meals.
*Set up trays and deliver to residents per dietary orders.
*Deliver coffee carafes, teapots and water carafes to designated areas.
*Responds to resident requests as needed during service.
*Cleans tables after meals, removes soiled tablecloths, empty coffee pots and wash dishes using proper
sanitization techniques.
*Empty garbage into the bin outside the facility.
* Sweep the dining area after meals and spot mop as needed.
*Sweep and mop kitchen between meal service as needed and nightly.
*Assist in maintaining records required by dietary staff per state regulations and facility policies.
*Follow all safety and sanitization protocols as established by County, State and Federal regulations.
*Reports all incidents and accidents and files incident reports with the Administrator or Admin. Designee.
*Completes training assigned to meet Rules for Licensed Residential and Assisted Living Facilities in Idaho.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Ability to read and write in English. Follow direction of supervisors. Ability to communicate with residents, visitors, coworkers and supervisors. Must pass criminal history background check, including fingerprinting and pass pre-employment and random drug screening and meet all requirements outlined in the Rules for Licensed Residential and Assisted Living Facilities in Idaho. Must Acquire and maintain a food handlers' card.

Job Summary:

Provides support to residents with day-to-day needs of daily life. Performs personal and housekeeping tasks to the degree a resident cannot do for themselves. As a member of a team, encourage independence, support resident choice and preserve resident dignity in an ethical and professional manner. Needs to be willing to become MED CERTIFIED within 90 days of employment.
NOTE: There is a $ .30 per hour shift differential pay increase for hours worked from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Upon Medication Certification hourly rate increases TO $16.32 per hour.
Experience:
High School or GED. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to read and comprehend written instructions. Must be able to communicate and deal effectively with the elderly. Must pass Criminal History background check, including fingerprinting, and meet all requirements outlined in the Rules for Licensed Residential and Assisted Living Facilities in Idaho. When hired, Boundary County will require First Aid and CPR certification which Boundary County pays for. The Idaho Food Handlers Course may be required if deemed necessary by the Restorium Administrator. Prior direct care experience in similar setting preferred.

JOB SUMMARY
Must be compassionate and dedicated to providing excellent resident care. Supporting our residents in maintaining their day-to-day abilities while encouraging independence and confidence. Maintains a current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Idaho. Performs nursing type duties within the guidelines of the Board of nursing Rules and IDAPA Rules for Assisted Living. The registered nurse is responsible for assuring that each resident is assessed according to the rules and regulations for assisted living facilities, delegation to UAP’s per the Board of Nursing. Registered Nurse will determine the health status of each resident and make recommendations to the Administrator as to their healthcare needs. Must be able to respond to changes in resident’s healthcare needs. Monitor each resident’s medications and assure that each resident’s medications are in accordance with the IDAPA rules and the Board of Nursing Rules. Must be reachable at all times. POSITION FUNCTIONS
1.             Promote and maintain Resident’s Rights.
2.       Conduct Pre admission assessments per state guidelines within 14 days of admission of a new resident.
3.            Develop an Interim Plan of Care at time of admission of a new resident as well as assist in developing
residents service plans within 14 days of admission, annually, and when there is a change of condition.
4.             Conduct a Nursing assessment every 90 days and/or when there is a change in condition.
5.             Communicate with the Administrator regarding any medication needs or other health care needs
requiring a follow up as well as follow up on previous recommendations.
6.             Assist in developing and monitoring behavior plans.
7.             Psychotropic medication reviews every 90 days for all residents on psychotropic medications.
8.             Ensure that the least restrictive interventions are in place and review for possible medication
reductions by their primary physician when appropriate every 6 months
9.             Review medications for possible side effects, interactions with other medications, abuse or other
adverse effects.
10.     Monitor resident’s that are capable of self- medicating monthly to assure the resident is still capable of
performing the task.
11.      Delegate according to the Board of Nursing Rules 23.01.01 to unlicensed assistive personnel,
medication coordinator and bath aid to perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include
dispensing medications if the unlicensed assistive personnel have a current certificate through the state of
Idaho which enables them to assist with medications. Delegation to Medication certified staff must be
approved by the Administrator prior to the delegation.
12.      Supervise and educate staff when changes in care or to guide in follow through of care plans.
13.      Routinely promote proper technique to staff and training for infection control.
14.      May perform other duties as assigned or as additional needs develop.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Extensive knowledge of the Board of Nursing Rules 23.01.01. At least 2 years of experience working with the elderly. Must demonstrate effective communication skills and work effectively with the elderly, their families, physicians, pharmacy, UAP’s and the Administrator. Must have knowledge of common medications and be able to identify possible adverse reactions and be prompt with an appropriate response. Experience with behavior management plans is recommended. Computer experience is essential.
TYPICALLY WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to work with minimal supervision, possess strong communication skills, and the ability to lead a group of people in completing tasks. Understand and apply the assisted living rules and regulations and/or is willing/capable to learn. High degree of performance and accuracy required to ensure the health and safety of the Boundary County Community Restorium residents. Must be able to work well with others and communicate effectively with staff and residents. May be exposed to infectious waste or communicable disease. Typical equipment; Stethoscope, sphygmomanometer, thermometers, pulse oximeters, blood glucose meter, AED, scales, mechanical lifts, and general nursing equipment. Computer and fax machine, multi- line phone.

JOB SUMMARY
Performs all duties of an Emergency Communications Officer (ECO): Answer 911 calls, text to 911, TTY, administrative calls, monitor multiple radio channels and relay accurate and pertinent information to the appropriate agency or agencies using both phone and radio. Provide information to law enforcement officers in the field regarding driver’s licenses, vehicle registration, warrants and other pertinent information. Monitor status of law enforcement, fire, EMS, and other responding units at all times. Enter and remove court documents into databases including warrants, protection orders, stolen articles, vehicles, guns, and missing persons. Monitor surveillance cameras for building security and safety of Detention Deputies. Operate jail doors. ECO’s may be required to assist in the jail with pat searches, clothing exchanges, and strip searches. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a clear, strong voice, and the ability to remain composed and professional under extremely stressful situations. Must have above average critical thinking skills and the ability to gather information from a number of sources, render rapid decisions ensuring the most effective response, and communicate information accurately, yet concisely. MINIMUM EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must have valid Idaho driver’s license. Must successfully pass the County’s pre-employment, and subsequent random drug testing, and stringent Sheriff’s Office background and selection process. Experience in computer operation and data processing. Proficient typing ability and general office skills. Must pass ILETS / NCIC entry and inquiry tests within six months of employment and maintain ILETS certification bi-annually. Must obtain Idaho POST certification within one year of employment.
