9:00 a.m.: Swearing in of the elected officials. Motion to appoint Chairman of Board of County Commissioners.
9:40 a.m.: Retirement and transfer of county equipment.
9:45 a.m.: Road & Bridge Department report. Motion to sign emergency declaration regarding Naples Bridge. Adopt resolution pertaining to emergency status of Naples Bridge. Motion to accept quote for contractor/vendor for Naples Bridge Project as it is a time sensitive emergency. Motion to sign Professional Services Agreement for engineering services for Naples Bridge Project. Motion to ratify the adoption & signing of the resolution supporting project identification submittal for Schoolhouse Road Improvement Project as it was time sensitive. Possible motion to sign Agreement with Stimson Lumber for access for snowmobile grooming & maintenance.
10:00 a.m.: Kootenai Tribe of Idaho Administrative Director Patty Perry and Bonners Ferry District Forest Ranger Kevin Knauth – Update on KVRI and Forest Service projects.
10:30 a.m.: Solid Waste Department Superintendent Claine Skeen – Update on heavy equipment lease. Motion regarding equipment lease.
11:00 a.m.: to noon: County Civil Attorney Tevis Hull – Update on various matters. Executive session pursuant to IC 74-206(1)c, to acquire an interest in real property which is not owned by a public agency regarding the airport. Discussion/possible motion regarding compensation to Attorney Hull as it pertains to Airport Improvement Project property land acquisition. Motion to adopt resolution accepting State of Idaho, Division of Aeronautics grant offer for Airport Aid Program, Program No. F17865S, Project No. AIP-014. Cancel/extend various taxes. Motion to sign Certificates of Residency. Claims approval.
1:30 p.m.: Clerk Poston – Discuss Auditor’s Trust Account. Executive session pursuant to Idaho Code 74-206(1)a, to consider hiring a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent, for the purpose of reviewing applications for Boundary County Emergency Services position vacancy.
2:30 p.m.: Conference call with Dennis Garrett of Ace Elder Care to discuss tax payment plan. Motion regarding payment plan.
