Claims Review & Approval, Indigent Matters and Junior College Tuition Forms will be discussed & approved and Resolutions will be adopted as time allows. Commissioners’ meetings are held in their chambers, Room 28, in the Boundary County Courthouse, unless otherwise stated. Tuesday, May 30, 2023 Please note: the meetings at 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. will take place at the new University of Idaho Extension Office located at 6791 B Main Street, Bonners Ferry. The remaining meetings will take place in Commissioners’ Office at the Courthouse.

9:00 a.m.: Elected officials/department heads meeting. (Please note: This meeting to be held at the new University of Idaho Extension Office location at 6791 B Main Street, Bonners Ferry.)
9:30 a.m.: University of Idaho Extension Educator Amy Robertson – Update on University of Idaho programs. (Please note: This meeting to be held at the new University of Idaho Extension Office location at 6791 B Main Street, Bonners Ferry.)
10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.: Motion to sign Certificates of Residency. Motion to sign Commissioner meeting minutes. Cancel/extend various taxes. Motion to sign New Private Road Name Request Forms. Discussion/motion regarding National Opioids Settlement Notice. Discussion/motion regarding ARPA, ARPA projects and possible motion to adopt ARPA resolutions. Motion to sign Independent Contractor Agreement with Panhandle Pest Control. Motion to approve quote for Restorium heating and air conditioning and new door and concrete pad. ACTION ITEMS.
10:30 a.m.: Merrill Jantz with Bee Line Water Association – Discuss request for use of ARPA funds. ACTION ITEM.
11:00 a.m.: Paradise Valley Fire District Chief Mike Glazier – Request ARPA funds to purchase a brush truck. ACTION ITEM.
11:30 a.m.: Ron Smith – Discuss SPOT Bus program and submit budget request. ACTION ITEM.
1:30 p.m.: Road and Bridge Department report.
2:00 p.m.: Solid Waste Department Superintendent Claine Skeen – Motion to go into executive session pursuant to Idaho Code 74-206(1)b, to consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against, a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent, or public-school student.
2:30 p.m.: Discussion/motion to sign Work Orders with Innovate! Inc. ACTION ITEM. Assessor Olivia Drake – Discussion/motion to adopt Board of Equalization Casualty Loss Form. ACTION ITEM.
3:00 p.m.: Discussion/possible motion regarding July Fourth fireworks event with John Becker. ACTION ITEM.
3:15 p.m.: Trey Dail with Ardurra - Executive session pursuant to Idaho Code 74-206(1)c – to acquire an interest in real property which is not owned by a public agency. ACTION ITEM.
