On July 27th, 2018 at approximately 1:05pm Boundary Search and Dive Rescue Team and Boundary Ambulance were dispatched to a report of a subject experiencing a medial issue near Snow Lake in the Selkirk Mountains and unable to hike out. The subject was located approximately ΒΌ mile form snow lake, and was extracted via helicopter to the Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge where they were transferred to a waiting ambulance and taken to Boundary Community Hospital at approximately 6:00pm.
Boundary Search and Dive Rescue Team and Boundary Ambulance were assisted by US
Forest Service Law Enforcement, South Boundary Fire Protection District and Two Bear Air of Whitefish Montana.
