...SNOW AROUND THE CENTRAL PANHANDLE MOUNTAINS THIS AFTERNOON... ...EARLY WINTER STORM TO BRING HEAVY SNOW TO NORTHERN MOUNTAINS AND VALLEYS THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY... .A low pressure system will form off of the Washington coast tonight into Friday. Colder air out of Canada will be sucked in across northeast Washington and into the Northern Panhandle while moisture wraps into this area around the low. Snow levels are expected to drop down to valleys floors tonight into Thursday morning with heavy snow possible at times through Thursday into at least Friday morning. ...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM THURSDAY TO 11 AM PDT FRIDAY... * WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Plan on difficult travel conditions, including during the evening commute on Thursday.
