Boundary County Commissioners Seek Applicants to Serve on the Snowmobile Board

Boundary County is seeking letters of interest from qualified individuals interested in volunteering as a Boundary County Snowmobile Board member. This Board is advisory to the Boundary County Board of Commissioners and terms consist of three years. Candidates must be able to attend monthly Board meetings. The purpose of the Snowmobile Board is as follows:

1. To promote recreational snowmobile opportunities within the county
2. To maintain and improve all equipment, grooming of designated areas and assist with permitting process
3. To cooperate with private, state, federal entities for continued access to public lands for the advancement of snowmobile recreation.

If you are interested in a position, please submit a letter explaining why you are interested in becoming a Snowmobile Board member and include what qualifications you feel you can provide to the board. Letters of interest should be sent to the Boundary County Commissioners’ Office at P.O. Box 419, Bonners Ferry, Idaho 83805 or emailed to: commissioners@boundarycountyid.org. Letters of interest will be accepted until March 16th.
