NOTICE TO RESIDENTS
Parker Creek Bridge Replacement Project – Westside Road
Enclosure: Parker Creek Bridge Detour Map
Dear Residents,
Boundary County Road & Bridge would like to inform residents and travelers of an upcoming bridge replacement project on Parker Creek Bridge located on Westside Road.
Construction is scheduled to begin on June 15, 2026, and is expected to be completed by September 30, 2026, weather and construction conditions permitting.
To safely complete this important project, Westside Road will be closed at the Parker Creek Bridge location during construction. A signed detour route will be in place utilizing Big Bend Road and Kerr Lake Road to maintain access around the closure area. Motorists should expect increased traffic along the detour route and are encouraged to allow additional travel time when planning trips through the area.
We understand that road closures and detours can be inconvenient, especially for those who regularly travel this route. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to replace this aging bridge. The completed project will provide a safer and more reliable crossing for residents, visitors, school transportation, emergency responders, and the traveling public for years to come.
Detour Map Enclosed
For your convenience, a detour map is attached to this notice. The map illustrates the closure location at Parker Creek Bridge and the designated detour route utilizing Big Bend Road and Kerr Lake Road. We encourage residents and visitors to review the route before traveling through the area during construction and to keep the map available for reference.
Thank you for your understanding, patience, and support as we complete these necessary improvements to Boundary County's transportation infrastructure.
If you have questions regarding the project, please contact Boundary County Road & Bridge at 208-267-3838
