Schoolhouse Road Improvement Project
The design for the Schoolhouse Road Improvement Project is now beginning.
The project will focus on improving the roadway to accommodate residents, travelers, Naples Elementary School bus and pedestrian traffic, truck traffic mobility for the Alta Forest Products Naples Mill, and South Boundary Fire Protection District Station 1 to name a few.
The link below "Schoolhouse Road plan options" shows 4 preliminary options for the road project.
The design process is now open to receive public comment so that concerns or current road issues dealt with by residents can be reviewed during the planning process.
The Public Comment form below can be returned by July 21, 2022 as shown on the form.
Any further comments or questions can be directed to Shawn Metts, HMH Engineering at smetts@hmh-llc.com.

Project Status
The Riverside Road Improvement Project is moving forward towards construction, although it may not begin until summer/fall or in the spring of 2022. We are working diligently with the project partners to finish the final details. Project construction will begin at the earliest opportunity after bid awarding.
Minimizing impacts to residents and the traveling public is still a top priority for all partners on the Riverside Road Improvement Project.
Idaho Transportation Department’s next phase to the US 95 Project will be 2023, so there should not be any construction conflict with the Riverside Projects construction.
