Boundary County is seeking letters of interest from qualified individuals interested in volunteering as a Boundary County Translator Board member. This Board is advisory to the Boundary County Board of Commissioners and terms consist of three years. A candidate must be able to attend monthly Advisory Board meetings. The purpose of the Translator Board is as follows:
- To maintain and improve all equipment, and associated properties under the jurisdiction and oversight of the Committee
- To recommend long-range general direction and goals related to the translator facilities
- To cooperate with all private, state and federal entities for continued success.
If you are interested in a position, please submit a letter explaining why you are interested in becoming a Translator Board member and include what qualifications you feel you can provide to the board. Letters of interest should be sent to the Boundary County Commissioners’ Office at P.O. Box 419, Bonners Ferry, Idaho 83805 or emailed to: commissioners@boundarycountyid.org. Letters of interest will be accepted until August 31st.
