Parks and Recreation

Our mission is to enhance the quality of lives for those living in Boundary County by providing safe, well-maintained parks and recreation opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to play, to learn and to build community.

Goals & Objectives:

  • Oversee and promote County-owned parks and recreation programs
  • Maintain and improve facilities to meet the community’s needs, safety and security
  • Ensure diversified year-round recreational opportunities and sports programs for all ages
  • Serve the youth by promoting sportsmanship and talent while teaching skills and teamwork in a fun yet competitive environment
  • Encourage volunteer participation
  • Advance recreation opportunities in cooperation with the community

We are always looking for coaches and sponsors. Whether you choose to sponsor a team specifically, or just wish to be a program sponsor. You may volunteer in various areas such as fundraising, coaching, officiating, etc. Anything you may have to offer, monetary or voluntary, would be greatly appreciated. We are all working to provide the youth in our community with some fun & positive activities, making our community a better place. We hope you’ll consider being a part of that.
