Under certain circumstances Boundary County is required, by Idaho Code and local ordinances, to publish legal notices in the official Boundary County newspaper of record, the Bonners Ferry Herald. While publication on this site does not constitute official legal notice, they are posted here to allow the widest possible dissemination of information of importance to residents and property owners in Boundary County. A brief summary of each is provided here; use the link provided to see the full text and additional information relevant to each.
Public hearings may be postponed/rescheduled. Please refer to this Boundary County Planning and Zoning hearing page for the latest schedule information.
The Boundary County Planning & Zoning Commission meets at 5:30 p.m. the fourth Thursday of each month at the Boundary County Annex Building (former Armory Building), 6566 Main Street, Bonners Ferry, ID. Planning & Zoning meetings with the Boundary County Board of Commissioners also meets at the Boundary County Annex Building but dates and times will vary.
Written comment should be addressed to Planning and Zoning, PO Box 419, Bonners Ferry, ID 83805; drop off at the Boundary County Planning & Zoning Department’s office or e-mailed to planning@ruenyeager.com. Written comments must be received by the end of the work day at 5:00 p.m. 1 week and 1 day prior to any scheduled hearing date.

Planning & Zoning Commission Public Meeting is September 24, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Boundary County Annex Building.

Anyone requiring special accommodation due to handicap or disability should contact the planning office at least two (2) days prior to the hearing.
